Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education (AREE)
According to Regulations for the Implementation of the Academic Research Ethics Education Course at National Central University, postgraduate students, upon completing their add/drop procedure for the first semester after admission, are required to study the course by themselves through the online platform of the "Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education," accessible via a link on NCU's website. Students taking this mandatory 0-credit course must pass an online test to meet the passing standard. After passing the test, they can download proof of course completion, and only after they submit the proof to the undertaker at their respective department can they apply for their oral defense. Those who do not pass the test must retake and pass it before they can apply for their oral defense.
The faculty, undergraduate students, and other personnel of the University may independently study the course on the online platform of the "Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education." After passing the online test, they can download proof of course completion.
